Sawyer got some new Play-Doh this weekend and he is way into it!

Day 272: Impromptu Indoor Hike

We had some friends over today who have a 6 month old baby girl, and they tried out our hiking backpack. Sawyer was less than pleased and yelled the whole time she was in it. So naturally, as soon as they took the baby out, he had to go in and walk around the house for a few.

Day 271: A No Nap Day

Here is a little glimpse of what happens at the end of a no nap day. We ran some errands this morning that unfortunately ended up cutting into his nap time (unintentional) and he fell asleep in the car on the way home. Then he, of course, would not go back to sleep, so he was up from just before 6am until 8pm. We put him to bed at 7, but he was so tired he was refusing to sleep. Little stinker (but a cute stinker)! I did manage to get a little smile though.

Day 270: Big Helper

He loves to help with everything and I have started letting him help me feed the dogs. He loves it!

Day 269: Bathtime Buddy

He loves bathtime.

Day 268: Hard Worker

Day 267: A Little Check-Up

I took the dude to the doctor today just to make sure everything was ok. He has had this little cold for about 2 weeks or so and I wanted to be sure it hadn't turned into a sinus infection like it has in the past. Happy to report all is clear! 

Day 266: Little Shopper

Sawyer loves shopping. (yay!) Today he found a bag from one of our shopping trips a few weekends ago and was carrying the bag around the house. 

Day 265: Recovering

Our whole family has been ravaged by this stomach bug! Little Sawyer got it on Tuesday, I got it on Thursday, and Mike and Grandma got it on Friday! It was really a horrible sickness to go through. We were all down for the count, and it came on so fast, like a ton of bricks. I barely got up Thursdays post!


Grandma was in town because she was going to babysit Sawyer while Mike and I went to a wedding on Saturday, but things didn't exactly turn out the way we hoped. I ended up going alone since I was feeling "ok" enough to go. We also had a hotel booked and it was too late to cancel, so I got to have this big nice room all to myself! But I was anxious to get back home to my little man today. Unfortunately since we all got sick after him, we have been letting him watch a few more episodes of Bubble Guppies than his average day. He didn't seem to mind.

Day 264: Saturday Morning Playtime

Day 263: Snack Area

He loves to put his little snacks and drinks on the corner of the tv stand. He just tromps around and plays, and then runs over to grab a little sip, or a goldfish, and then goes back to playing. I just love him.

Day 261: Sweet Little Napper

We had a day at home today, Sawyer and Mommy. This morning we had some rough moments, but thankfully no "sickies." After his nap he perked up, he seems to be feeling much better. I had to snap this cute little pic while he was napping. What a sweet boy.

Day 260: Happy Valentines Day

The little dude got sick tonight. :( He had some vomiting and he just isn't feeling good, poor little booboo. He did love the little balloon I got him, though!

Day 259: Goofy Kid

Last Saturday we ran into Target real quick to buy Breaking Dawn for a few things, and since we can't leave without buying something fun for Sawyer, we grabbed this ball which turned out to be a HUGE hit! It lights up, and well, he just thinks that is the coolest! :)

and I'm cracking up at the candy bar on the tv. 

Day 258: After Nap Snuggles

After nap Sawyer usually watches one of his little shows, usually Bubble Guppies (of course.) Today Daddy was playing a video game on the Wii, so instead of having him stop, I bought Sawyer into our bed and he watched an episode on my laptop. I think he thought it was a real treat. (Please excuse the unmade bed!)

Last week I found a Bubble Guppies coloring book and I of course had to get it! Sawyer was/is so pleased with it. 

Day 255: Driving Dude / Pierre Flops

After almost a year, I decided to finally connect the bluetooth in my car to my iPhone. Sawyer was a great helper.

He also loves flopping all over Pierre. Pierre is a good sport. Sawyer has some serious bedhead.
